The Thai Muslim Housewife Foundation

under the leadership of President Ms. Dara Khattiyaaree and the Foundation Committee, successfully organized its 31st Annual Charity Event at the Foundation of the Islamic Centre of Thailand.

The event was held to raise funds in support of scholarships for underprivileged and orphaned children, disadvantaged youth, and religious teachers, reaffirming the Foundation's enduring commitment to education, community welfare, and social development.

During the event, the Thai Muslim Housewife Foundation, in collaboration with its Foundation Committee and under the leadership of President Ms. Dara Khattiyaaree, invited Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Warsi, President of the Thai-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (TPCC), to the stage in recognition of his recent appointment as President of the Chamber. The Foundation extended its heartfelt congratulations and expressed its appreciation for his vision, leadership, and commitment to strengthening community engagement and international cooperation.

The event was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Mr. Thamanat Prompow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand; Hon. Mr. Aree Wong-araya, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Former Minister of Interior of Thailand; and Mr. Watcharapol Komontamaetee, President of the Foundation of the Islamic Centre of Thailand.

The gathering was also attended by a delegation from the Overseas Pakistanis Thai Association (OPATH), led by Patron-in-Chief Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Warsi, together with President Mr. Muhammad Azhar Virk; Mr. Mumtaz Ali Khattak, Vice President (Welfare); Mr. Muhammad Yousaf, Vice President (Finance); and Mr. Muhammad Jawad Bashir, Vice President (Legal Affairs).

Also present were OPATH Advisors Mr. Irshad Ahmed, Dr. Chanon Abdul-Aziz, and Mr. Hassan Adeel Shahzad, along with members of the Association. The event was further enriched by the participation of distinguished representatives from Thailand's social, business, and diplomatic communities, making the occasion both meaningful and memorable.
