The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Bangkok

hosted a distinguished reception to commemorate the 74th Anniversary of the National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt (23 July).

The event was graciously hosted by Her Excellency Mrs. Hala Youssef Ahmed, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Thailand, and brought together distinguished guests, diplomats, government officials, and members of the diplomatic community to celebrate this significant national occasion.

Held at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, the reception was marked by dignity, elegance, and warm hospitality, reflecting the strong and enduring friendship between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Thailand.

The event was honored by the presence of the Guest of Honour, His Excellency Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand.

Also in attendance were Mr. Watcharapol Komontamaetee, President of the Foundation of the Islamic Centre of Thailand; Mrs. Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg, Chairwoman of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT); and Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Warsi, President of the Thai-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (TPCC), accompanied by Mr. Irshad Ahmed, Founding Executive, and Dr. Chanon Abdul’Aziz, Advisor to the President.

The ceremony was further honored by the presence of members of the JFCCT Presidents’ Council, along with distinguished ambassadors, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives from leading business organizations and affiliated chambers of commerce, making the occasion truly memorable.
