The Overseas Pakistanis Thai Association (OPA-TH) held its General Meeting at the Head Office in Krungthepkritha, Bangkok
The meeting was chaired by Patron-in-Chief Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Warsi, together with President Mr. Muhammad Azhar Virk, Senior Vice President Mr. Abdul Rasheed Khan (Suthee Pangsawang), and General Secretary Mr. Dawood Ali Shah.
A progressive development agenda for 2026 was discussed, focusing on expanding the Association’s services and strengthening its commitment to supporting the community. Senior Executive members and participants shared valuable insights on the organization’s growth and future plans.
The meeting also covered preparations for Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day celebrations on August 14, along with related budgetary and administrative matters.
The session concluded with prayers for the prosperity and security of Pakistan and Thailand. Members of the Executive Committee reaffirmed their dedication to serving overseas Pakistanis and fostering unity within the community, reflecting the Association’s vision of solidarity, progress, and service.
